Craig Kelly Concludes Honduras Visit

The deputy U.S. assistant secretary for Western Hemisphere, Craig Kelly, today concluded his two-day visit to Honduras. He met with both Zelaya and Micheletti representatives separately in an attempt to save the agreement that seeks to resolve the political crisis in Honduras.

The U.S. official hoped to salvage the Tegucigalpa-San Jose Agreement, which five days after being signed, was considered a failure by the former president Zelaya, who rejected that the reconciliation government would be headed by Micheletti.

Zelaya reiterated in a statement today that he is rejecting the government of reconciliation. Also, he called upon the international community not to recognize the presidential elections on November 29th, if by that date the “coup” has not been reversed.

He noted that his government “condemns the attempt to unilaterally install a government of national unity and reconciliation” presided over by Micheletti.

You are right ‘gonow’, Obama is sliding backwards in his condamntion of Honduras, but does not have the moral strenght to publicly acknoledge that he unjustly and unfailry attacked Honduras, one of the smallest and poorest nations in the world, simply because it refused to allow his pal Chavez to take it over thru his henchman, Zelaya.

Honduras has staid firm on its position that, what Zelaya did was illegal and wrong.

Lies do not stand the test of time as well as the truth does, so you now see a defeated man who simply can not accept that all this other puppets of Chavez are in position and he could not do it.

He miscalculated, and even though it is true that the Honduran rulling class needs to revamp the way it deals with social injustice, there is no desire in that country to be ruled by a Socialist dictator.

So mr. Kelly, the question is:

Were you able to see how much does the people of Honduras despise Mel Zelaya, or are you one of those willing to ignore the will of the majority also?

What are you going to report to your masters in Washington D.C.?

Are you going to have to tell the courage to tell that pair of vengative tyrants, Obama & Hillary the truth?

That Honduras is a country that recently suffered an unwarranted assault lead by the leaders of the supossed “Free World”?

That its economy has suffered so much due to their stance on the very legal, and agreed with, by the majority of the people of Honduras ousting of Zelaya, a traitor, a robber of votes and violator of the same Constitution that he swore to protect and upheld?

I, for one, have my doubts that you will have the courage to tell the truth, at least not in a public way, for you belong to this new generation of people that are so selfish that in order to protect your job will do anything, no matter how dirty and unjust, somewhat, that reminds of the kind of people that Zelaya belongs with.
