El Heraldo Victim of Attack

El Heraldo chief editor Fernando Berrio says assailants threw molotov cocktails at the offices of his newspaper, setting fire to the entrance. Security guards were the only ones in the building at the time. They extinguished the fire, and nobody was hurt.

The attack early Saturday was the sixth against media outlets and other institutions critical of Zelaya.

Mrs. Gomez, under risk of repeating my self, I say this again “There no one more blind that those who refuse to see”.
The future of Honduras lays not in a communist type of goverment, and either you are ignorant of their track record, or choose to ignore it, but those socialist heavens are not goverments for the people, nor by the people, the rulers choose their own succesors and the people have no freedom what so ever, technically becoming slaves working for the powers that be.
Stop pushing for something so terrible for Honduras, if you want to make our country a better one, help fight corruption and educate the people.

What I dont get is, hes only got 5 more months left until his original term is over, if hes honest bout not seeking re-election then why is he making such a fuss about a few more months?? Instead he should spare the Honduran ppl from keeping them divided, well not divided cause theres more against him then for him, I should say, spare the conflicts, are they REALLY worth 5 more months??

Guadalupe, my father (a very wise old man) once said “If they are not corupt before they get into office, they become corupt after they get in office.” Even you have seen this is all countries. Yes the people voted for Zelaya but that doesn’t mean he is the same person you voted for.He has been influenced by many corupt people. He cares nothing about his people or he would put a stop to all of this!! I want to ask you something, if he was arrested instead of ousted out of the country would you still support him? If he was found guilty of the accused crimes and sent to prison would you still support him? Would all this rioting still be going on? Which is the better solution for you supporters, have him arrested and possibly going to prison or giving him a chance to leave the country with his family. I’m sure his good friend Chavez would welcome him to Venezula but i don’t think Zelaya wants to live in a commnist country he only wants to run one.

Peace and brotherhood?? yet the supports of Mel are the ones breaking windows and setting businesses on fire and beating up other ppl. Right!!! peace and brotherhood, sounds more like anarchists to me!
The past you say, Zelaya is the past!

It seems that those who support the golpistas & tyranny are the ones who believe in yesterday.
You are living in the past. Get out of our way! There will be no returns to the past. You can’t turn back the hand of time.

We the supporters of Zelaya, believe in tomorrow. We also believe in democracy (real democracy where the government is BY & FOR the people), social justice, goodwill, peace and brotherhood.

It’s hard to be a pro-coup newspaper when the regime you’re trying to prop up keeps attacking your own reporters.
