Energy Savings Will Start at the Executive Level

The Honduran government plans to announce on Tuesday, the energy saving measures that will be applied to all State institutions for the purpose of saving the public on expenses.

The Minister of Natural Resources, Rigoberto Cuéllar, said “the government will lead by example, by taking action, and then start a campaign to raise public awareness.”

“These measures will not affect the public, but we will impose things like the time change, energy audits, and lower vehicle use, starting at the Government House,” said the official.

Other actions they will take are to be announced tomorrow, but all will be undertaken in operating the business of the State.
