Europe Excludes Honduras

The European Union (EU) gave a boost to its pioneer program to bring solar energy to remote communities in eight countries in Latin America, but left out Honduras in this round because of the political situation taking place. After the removal of President Manuel Zelaya, the EU suspended all bilateral aid to the country and reduced to a minimum contacts with the current government headed by Roberto Micheletti.

The European Commission hinted that they hoped there is a duly recognized government representative that can sign this agreement for Honduras before December 31st, otherwise, communities will “receive 0.0 percent” of the promised aid which was to cover 68 communities in Honduras.

The risk is that this aid program will disappear entirely for Honduras, although the European Union had pledged 223 million euros for 2007-2013. It was granted, less than 30 percent disbursed, and then suspended with the exile of Manual Zelaya.

American people please support the people of Honduras. I am worry about the poor people that beg in the streets for a piece of bread; for the women that see their babies die in their arms for lack of food and medicine. This happens every moment in the second poorest country in the world which is Honduras. How could you condemn them into isolation and to more chaos for doing the right thing? what kind of human beings are you? you should be ashamed.

For all of you who would like to voice your opinions to hillary go to hillaryclinton.com. You can send an email or letter to the address listed. I am told this is the best place to get her attention. I don’t know if it will work but it’s worth a try

It is not Obama, OAS nor the EU, its the New World Order that Wall Street has set course to obtain. They are the handlers of Obama and they like the idea of Chavez is doing their dirty work for them. History has shown that this is not the first time Wall Street supports the opposite side. JP Morgan, disguised as the American Red Cross gave financial aid to Lenin. But we can stand up to these bullies. Finland stood firm against Stalin in 1939 while the world watched passively . It gained world wide respect and now gives aid to the third world. It can be done and we shall do it. Let us follow the Law and not the money trail.

Alex Reyes, to answer your question, the elections are not going to be reconize by any country, because Zelaya needs to finish his term.

That is a stupid thing for the EU to do. Practically no countries in the EU and know what happened in Honduras. They fell in line when the OAS asked the UN to do so. The UN that is run by a Nicaraguan Sandanista. The same UN that is calling Fidel Castro a world hero. Hero to who? Chavez and Ortega?

Honduras Hasta siempre la victoria over Mexico who cares a about Zelaya and his rubbish let him run down the road with his torch of tyranny with his buddies If Ortega had the solutions Nicaragua would not be around begging Free from Spain 1800 and now begging the EU/Chavez who is enslaved 2009?

  10. Mirachi  September 9, 2009 at 4:06 pm

You do not need any thing from these EU jokers Europe only comes around when millions are enslaved and suffering so they can pretend to be saviors. They only respect you when you reject their socialist Agenda spreading poverty. Stand strong HONDURAS

So what is it that Honduras did that is so wrong?

Can anybody explain to me why is it that Honduras did so bad when all that hapenned was we reacted correctelly to the law breaking incident in which Zelaya incurred.

  12. Axel Reyes  September 9, 2009 at 1:55 pm

Every body is following the example of the USA, one that seems to read ‘lets make Honduras suffer for daring to do the right thing’.

Honduras does not deserve this punishement, selfish and egotistical interests are making Honduras look like if it did the wrong thing by not allowing a president to break the Constitution.

Why are you doing this, we have shown you all the documentation that support our claim.

When did the world start to play with these new rules where doing the right thing no longer maters?

  13. Axel Reyes  September 9, 2009 at 1:49 pm

Would somebody who knows please answer this:
If Honduras has elections as scheduled (in november) will that goverment be considered duly recognized, or are we being set up by yet another group of people who are telling Honduras that Mel Zelaya should be considered above the law and unreacheable by justice.
Please people, stop playing with the future of Honduras, we have never wanted Socialism as a way to govern our selves, accept that and help us get out of this mess by doing the right thing.
The minority is noisy, yes, but not a mayority, so lets be fair to the people who felt btrayed by Zelaya when he stole their votes and intead of working for Honduras, gave them to Chavez.
