FNRP Takes to the Streets

Members of the National Front of Popular Resistance (FNRP) this morning overtook a street in the vicinity of Centroamérica boulevard, near the College of Secondary Teachers of Honduras (Colegio de Profesores de Educación Media de Honduras-COPEMH), where last night a wake was held for the activist “Emo” Sadloo.

According to the preliminary report, another group of protesters will gather at the National Pedagógica University “Francisco Morazan”.

Villagers in the area reported damage from several stones thrown at the traffic lights at the Boulevard intersection in the Las Colinas neighborhood of Tegucigalpa.

Police this morning told reporters that there will be a peaceful eviction.
