A gallon of premium gasoline rose 64 cents, the new cost will be 72.09 lempiras; the new price of regular gasoline is 67.27, an increase of 42 cents; while diesel will go up 69 cents, its price will rise to 62.89 lempiras.

The increase reflects internationally recorded rising crude oil prices, which yesterday closed at 83.01 dollars per barrel (159 liters), according to the report provided by the CAP.
