An explosion interrupted the sleep of people living in the neighborhood, and in seconds, two huge rocks weighing approximately three tons each, fell off the hill and onto a house where eight family members were sleeping. Five of the eight died, but three family members survived and were rescued by neighbors.

The huge stones also damaged the home of another family in which four people were injured, including a baby of 7 months.

According to the inhabitants of the area, this is not the first time there has been a landslide, but it is the first time that it resulted in death and a tragedy of great magnitude.
