Members of the Naval Force of Honduras seized six boats which were apparently being used for the transfer of drugs. The seizures of the vessels in the coastal region of Cuero y Salado, to the West of the city of La Ceiba, were made possible “through constant naval patrol”, according to René Canales Osorio.
Unfortunately, no arrests were made in connection with the incident, Canales reported, “It was a group; we suppose that they were using them for transferring drugs, trafficking drugs or weapons, we don’t know the the details.”
The boats are in possession of the armed forces for security by order of the Prosecutor.
