Honduran Prisioners Escape Again

Two prisoners are again on the run after escaping for a second time in Honduras.
Security Ministry spokesman Hector Ivan Mejia says the men killed two guards and first escaped on Feb. 25 from the Nacaome prison.

But Jose Napoleon Portillo and Samuel Bonilla were recaptured Wednesday at a house, where they were planning to hire a smuggler and sneak into the U.S. The alleged bank robbers were taken to a police station and were to be transferred to a prison. But they were able to escape Friday before the transfer.
Mejia says officials are investigating to see if police at the station helped the men escape.
They are also searching for the two men once again.
