Honduras Olympic Star Kenny Alexander Godoy wins his first Judo match at the London 2012 Olympics

Honduras Olympic star Kenny Alexander Godoy defeated Zakari Gourouza from Niger to move on to the next round in the 2012 London Olympic games. Kenny Alexander Godoy won the match 0000-0100 in the 60kg category.

Other results in the Judo competition have Betkil Shuvani (Georgia) defeating Arnie Dickens (Australia) 0101 -000 and Ludwig Paischer (Austria) winning against Jacob Nel Gnahoui (Benin) 0100 – 0000.

Kenny Godoy, who wore a blue uniform, was disqualified by the judges in judo at the Nigerian Zakary Gourouza in the category of 60 kilograms.

The disqualification was due to an error by the athlete trying to make a key rival, which was immediately punished by the judges, unfortunately at the time that the Honduran showed his best attack.

Competition from Godoy, number 175 of the world, began at 2:30 am from Honduras, 10:30 am in London at the Excel Arena South. The Nigerian will face in the next round Arsen Galstyan Russian, seeded fourth in the tournament.
