Honduras President Porfirio Lobo Sosa

The President of Honduras has confirmed that his government has requested an explanation from the United States of America about their espionage actions in the region.  The spying situation has been condemned throughout Latin America, from Mexico to Chile and Argentina.

“It is the right of every country to be sovereign; and therefore, let’s apply the golden rule: do not do to others what you would not like done to you, and no one likes there to be any espionage in its territory,” according to President Lobo.
