Chavez’ call-up could affect FC Dallas, as Honduras also plays Jamaica on Oct. 11th, and FCD has a game against the Chicago Fire on Oct. 12th.
Some high-profile names missing include goalkeeper Noel Valladares, defender Emilio Izaguirre, midfielder Hendry Thomas and attackers Ramon Nunez, David Suazo, Georgie Welcome and Walter Martinez. D.C. United winger Andy Najar is also not part of the group.
