The Head of the Honduras delegation to the World Cup, Evelio Aleman, told reporters on arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, that they made adequate preparations before coming to Nigeria, and therefore they will triumph.

“We are very happy to be here for the World Cup, and the journey to this place has been excellent. We are going to win the World Cup by first beating Nigeria, Germany and Argentina before going ahead to win the trophy.”

“We have prepared very well for this event, and I have no doubt we will eventually win the trophy”, Aleman (who spoke through an interpreter) said.
