Minister Nunez is the ex-president of BCH (the Central Bank of Honduras), and said her first mission will be to adopt a budget of income and expenditures for this year.

She will ask the Central Bank of Honduras and the General Treasury to provide her with the daily balance of all accounts for the Country of Honduras, and the movement of those national funds, external funds, trusts, etc. for the past month.

Nunez stated that President Roberto Micheletti has already announced that he would like to have a clear report of the economic situation of the country within one month’s time, as these finances are resources of the Country, and the Country has a right to be informed about them in order to take care of the Country’s needs.
