During the visit, the mission met with Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS) Jose Miguel Insulza in his Washington home.
Mauricio Villeda, another member of the Honduran mission, said that “the fact that Insulza had opened his house doors to meet with us is a sign of totally opening (up); we arrived full of optimism.”
Corrales said that they returned “happily” because the discussions “were aimed at reconciling the views of the OAS’ foreign ministers.” He added that “when the ministers visit Honduras, the Honduran side wishes they have information from all parts, and it is necessary to listen to different sides.”

Now that the new American President has had time to pull his foot out of his mouth, perhaps he will take the time to look at the facts this time before he offers support to a Chavez wannabe like Zelaya. Anyone with any sense could see that the people (and legitimate government) of Honduras were acting in strict accordance with their constitution when they kicked Zelaya out of the country! Butt out OBAMA and let the people of Honduras enjoy the democracy they have created! Otherwise, Hondurasns will suffer the same miserable fate as the citizens of Venezuela.
Thank God, somebody is finally accepting that what hapenned in Honduras at the end of June was a legal act, now they just have to accept that the majority oh Hondurans do not see Socialism as a way out from our economical and social mess, maybe they want to help us fight corruption.
I AGREE! About time. People are too busy trying to stop Obama’s socialist health care bill and anything else he is doing that they are overlooking whats going on in Honduras
Well wait and see. We keep hearing change of view in the wind, but then the governments revert to their same tired speaches and condemnation for Honduras.
IT.S ABOUT TIME!!!!
