Order for Capture Issued for Zelaya

Jose Manuel Zelaya Rosales had plans to travel across Central America and some countries in South America, beginning with a trip to Venezuela today. He will not be making that journey afterall, and Hugo Chavez cannot welcome Zelaya into his country, because yesterday capture orders were issued for the ex-president’s arrest.

Miguel Mejia, Dominican Secretary of State, explained that Zelaya would meet with several presidents and civil organizations during his tour of the region; however, Zelaya was accused yesterday formally by the Public Ministry, along with four ex-civil servants of his government, of crimes related to acts of corruption.

Guatemalan sources affirmed that the incorporation of Zelaya into the Central American Parliament was scheduled for today in Guatemala, but was postponed for a date not yet defined due to “logistic difficulties”.

Zelaya claimed the move was an act of retaliation on the side of President Lobo for Honduras’ exclusion from the political meetings taking place in Mexico this week. Zelaya also said that President Lobo was acting with a personal vengeance against him and renewing his political persecution.

    GREAT!!!!!

It is about time that an arrest warrant is issued against z’liar.

He is guilty of treason, theft, trafficing in drugs, and a whole host of other crimes against the Honduran people.

I pray that one day he will be caught, tried, convicted, and sent to the prision cell that he belongs in.

    Viva Honduras!!!!!!!!!!
