In Tegucigalpa, the spokesman for Pepe Lobo, Vladimir Vaca, said that several meetings, as well as the formal installation of the Verification Commission for the Accord are taking place in the Capital, and Mr. Lobo believes it is necessary for him to remain in Honduras at this time.

Axel I agree with you. Zelaya is trying way too hard for just a little bit of time in office. And he really wants it to be before the election. What does he want it for? That is the burning question. So if the election goes on and he gives up, what will that tell us?
All this Pepe did, Pepe didn’t is confusing too. Does he want Santos to win? I surely hope all this drama subsides, no matter who gets the vote. Then we can wait for the movie to come out.
i read somewhere the 18 charges against mel are now 18 arrest warrants. if that is so they must arrest him as soon he is on the side walk……….. it is hard to think that a guy with 18 arrest warrants is seriously being consideret to be president…………
It is better that Lobo does not leave Honduras in these days, who knows what Zelaya and his cronies are planing, and there must be something in the works, or they would not be insisting so hard for even just a little bit of time for him in office.
They know that with a little time in office a president can do very much, in Zelaya’s case it would be very much harm to Honduras, we all know it, so nobody has the right at this point in this juncture of events to play dumb or ignorant.
Honduras needs its good sons right now more than ever before.
Every body who is an important player in this game should not be out of Honduras for the next few months, Zelaya is a real, clear and present danger to our nation.
