Planned Meeting Will Not Go As Planned

A planned meeting between the ousted and incoming leaders of Honduras to solve that nation’s political crisis has been delayed, Dominican President Leonel Fernandez said Sunday.

Fernandez had announced Friday that he expected the ousted Manuel Zelaya and President-elect Porfirio Lobo to meet in the Caribbean nation’s capital on Monday — implying that Zelaya would be able to leave the Brazilian Embassy in Honduras where he has taken refuge for nearly three months.Read AP Article Here.

    miraclemant,
I again remind you of the importance of who is saying the words, not what words are being said.

A leftist president will try to make it sound as if there is support for his pal, the ousted dictator wannabe Zelaya.

But a planned meeting does not have to”mean” that Pepe Lobo was included in the planning process.

I remind you again, the Leftist leaders are very good at saying things that would eventually work for their benefit.

To be precise let me remind you again of the mantra that Hillary Clinton established about Honduras, and it goes like this:

“Honduras must find its way back to the path of Democracy”.

Well, it sounds good, as if it was well intended, but instead it is designed to be heard and read by many Americans who want to trust her still, and thus protect her and Obama from the consequences of the hideous act that was to cut American aid to Honduras, and also of creating an enviroment of hate and rejection toward Honduras world wide, since who do you trust to be on the side of Democray if not the good old USA?

Hillary knew very well that Honduras had not left the path of democracy, if anything it fought instead, with claws and fangs, to defend the democratic process, since Zelaya was intending to abuse it and latter impose a non democratic governmental structure.

Axel Reyes Bogran…. if you will read the article, it states…”A planned meeting ” it did NOT say “a proposed meeting” and thus the logical conclusion is that both parties agreed to said meeting.

once again I see myself clarifying what the article said to you………

miraclemant, once again I see my self trying to clarify some issues in this mess.

We begin by making sure that we know who used what words to describe what.

Mr. Leonel Fernandez, the current President of the Dominican Republic is also a politician with very leftist inclinations, for him the Coup that never hapenned is a reality that he chooses to see that way, as we know, there is no one blinder that the ones that do not want to see.
So the words that he uses reflect that mentallity, they are not words that were pronounced by the elected President of Honduras, ‘Pepe’ Lobo, he does not agree with Zelaya, and efforts were made earlier by Zelaya’s camp to get Mr. Lobo to meet with and support Zelaya, and there were turned down by Mr. Lobo.

So, unfortunally you are reacting the way they want people to, believing what would make it be like there was a ‘Coup’ and that Honduras is accepting so by making attempts to mend things.

What is Lobo doing trying to hold talks with z’liar in order to “solve the political crisis”?

First there is no political crisis, never has been.

Honduras has continued to follow the rule of law and the Constitution of Honduras the whole time, never mind what other countries say or think!!

If Lobo thinks this is a needed step before he takes the presidency in January, then maybe he is not the man to be president of Honduras!

This is NOT putting the people of Honduras first, it is putting z’liar and that dog chavez’s desires first, this is NOT what we voted for!!

The sooner we forget about that puppet z’liar, and move on with our lives and our country, the better off Honduras and we the people of Honduras will be.
