The Permanent Contingency Commission (COPECO) issued green alert for the Honduran capital due to persistent rains which have caused landslides and the flooding of creeks in the city.

According to the forecast of the National Weather Service (SMN), precipitation will continue over the next five days, so people must remain watchful.
