They discussed the Fulbright Board’s plans for the coming year to begin a mentoring program to help improve educational opportunities for Honduran youth and fundraising activities to increase the number of scholarships the Association can offer. The Association is also interested in starting a Think Tank to utilize the education, knowledge and experience of Fulbright Alumni for the benefit of policy makers in Honduras.

Ambassador Kubiske said she was impressed with the enthusiasm and dedication of the Honduran Fulbright Association and offered her and the Embassy’s support for their future activities.
