Weather conditions to improve

COPECO announced today that for the next couple of days, the precipitations will decrease all around the country with the exception of the north east part of Honduras where the rains will accumulate up to 35 millimeters of water in the next 48 hours.

According to reports from the National Meteorological Service, SMN, the rest of the country is expected to have precipitations lower than 5 millimeters and partially cloudy skies, with winds of 25 kilometers per hour, which will leave waves of up to 6 feet in both coasts; the temperatures will remain low at dawn.

The communities that remain under red alert are; Corquin and Cucuyagua in Copan and Belen Gualcho in Ocotepeque; yellow alert for Colon, Gracias a Dios, north of Olancho, Tegucigalpa and all communities near the Ulua river in Valle de Sula; green alert for the Bay Islands, Atlantida, north of Yoro and the rest of Cortes.
