Dr. Juan Carlos Zuniga of the Liberal Party has won the San Pedro Sula majority vote, after a short-lived campaign of only two weeks, The Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) confirmed. Dr. Arturo Bendaña of the Nationalist Party acknowledged his defeat in the race for mayor of San Pedro Sula.
